I am currently producing Maple backed Cherry target longbows. This is a good combination and
I must say I was very happy with the first bi-laminate bow once it was finished, braced, and
drawn with an arrow. The bow feels very light in the hand and a pleasure to shoot with. I have
used buffalo horn for the nocks and arrow plate. I decided to use water based clear varnish,
and at least 4 coats to seal the bow. I strung this one with ‘Dyneema’ closed loop flemish style string.
